Tutors

At Tutoring Futures, we specialise in the placement of highly skilled, experienced and professional private tutors. We and our clients demand high standards and expect a commitment to delivering exceptional education to meet the needs of students. In many cases the tutor will need to show flexibility and a willingness to allow for a child's broader educational development.

Prospective tutors must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), have experience of classroom teaching or tutoring and be registered with the General Teaching Council (GTC).

Our recruitment process:

  • Vacancies are advertised here as well as in the Times Educational Supplement (TES).
  • Applicants are requested to send a completed registration form and full covering letter outlining how their skills and experience match the job specification.
  • Short-listed candidates will be invited to an initial interview with Tutoring Futures. 2 or 3 applicants will then be selected to meet the client for a final interview.
  • Tutoring Futures will hold a final meeting with the successful applicant to confirm all placement details, draw up contracts and ensure he/she is prepared for the appointment.

It is important to us that tutors feel supported throughout the term of the contract and in this way we act beyond the scope of a standard recruitment agency.
